Seems to be the first sign outside of India (which has got a lot of Tibetan exiles) of public opinion in a non-Western country lashing out against China.
Not sure that this will actually do any good on the China front, but if it pressure Mbeki into acting in Zimbabwe, that is almost certainly a good thing.
