That was very well done! What an interesting idea, I love it. You kept their voices nicely, and your internal dialogue is amazing.

Adelle running away from a wild boar, wearing nothing but her PJ's is something only dreams are made of. I laughed so hard. Love it! Great fic!

Thank you. I got the idea from a Discovery Channel show. It was supposed to be finished a week ago, but I kinda enjoyed writing this too much. Especially the wild boar part... and the waterfall part. Haha!

OMG! They're on the island of Lost!

A friend actually suggested something akin to a Lost-like plot and I was all, "No. No smoke monsters. No conspiracies. Just... no. maybe a little No."

This was hilarious. It was in character, and silly, and awesome. I loved the use of office gossip. And the wild boar section was awesomely amazing.

But ahm yes, and it is why they are awesome.

I have to say, and I can't believe I didn't mention this in the original comment, but one of the reasons I liked the boar part so much is because it seemed like a shout out to Lost, and my favorite episode of it. So, I was extra pleased 'cause it was like automatically wild boar + island = awesome. Though the pajamas helped.

And I'm now picturing an AU of your fic where Adelle tries to tame it in her jim jams. While Laurence is equal parts bemused and irritated that he can't eat it. But slowly it grows on him. ...I will stop there but then they totally make a gift of it to Topher.

Oh, that poll broke my brain. It made me choose between Jack/Irina, Gaius/Six AND DeWitt/Dominic (Jack/Irina won in the end)... and then there were some DeWitt/Dominic vs. Ted/Veronica too. My shipper heart was breaking.

The first season of Lost is the only season I've watched of the show completely. I remember the ep with the wild boars in them and I was all, "Hmm.. wild boars." (that ep featured a badass Locke, right? Hee)

Hee. And Dom will be like, "Hey Topher, we got you something back from the island."

Yeah, a triangle/square free environment is definitely good. I got burnt too many times shipping on LOST. (I shipped a couple from the love square, silly me)

I forgot to mention how much I loved the part when Adelle was running from the polar bear boar. Funny!!

I shipped Jin/Sun. I haven't watched seasons 2 onwards, but I'm pretty sure they haven't been broken by a triangle or death (maybe a pseudo death, lol)

Adelle running away from the boar was a fave bit too, aside from the scandal in the river. Hee. <3

I loved this! Of course Adelle would be in control on a desert island, with Dominic to assist in any way needed. And of course Boyd would find them. This was awesome.
