“She made a mistake. And now, she’s sad.”

Apr 12, 2009 13:17

I watched Dollhouse episode 9 (Spy in the House of Love) yesterday night. IT WAS A MINDBLOWING EPISODE. THE BEST SO FAR.

Echo as a dominatrix. Fierce.

OMG. Victor with a British accent! SEXAYYYYY.

DeWitt/Dominic is my ship. And I liked this interaction. Sexyyy.

Is it me, or am I warming up to Echo? (Not Caroline, Echo). And I think Eliza Dushku’s acting is improving lots.

Boyd/Saunders undercurrents. Love it.

“I make a cheerleader. But they make a cheerleader that shoots people. Or an assassin that does cheers.” Lulz, Topher.

Echo is so cute here. (not cute in the looks department, although she is cute in that department. I mean, cute in an OMG, I want to be your friend! Kind of way).

Topher’s afraid of DeWitt. Everybody’s afraid of DeWitt (except Mr. Dominic)

Art class = bonsai cutting. Nice.

OMG. ECHO (in blank state) IS FIGURING THINGS OUT BY HERSELF. I find this very awesome.
I like how they shot this episode. Lots of long shots. Pretty.

God, Paul is a little bit scary here. And wow, he’s kinda paranoid.
Paranoid.

Wait, how did he get all those info? Without his badge?
Tahmoh is cute here. And he looks like he needs a hug. *hugs*
Who wants to walk out of your sexayy body, Tahmoh?

OH DAMN. TO GET THE REVEAL FROM MELLIE. TAHMOH, YOU’RE ACTING DEGREE FROM BATTLESTAR GALACTICA IS SHOWING.AND I LOVE YOU FOR IT.

What IS the Dollhouse’s objective?
OMG, DANG IT. SPYNESS.

“If anything happened to DeWitt…” Oh, Dominic. *hugs*
“What happens when the Boss Lady comes back?”

“I just want you to appreciate how awesome I am when I deliver.” Ooh, Sierra in kick ass spy mode.

Sierra looks Korean. Or Chinese. Korean.
WHOA BRILLIANT. THE TRAIN SCENE! ASDJHFJADSFDASHDA. I’M RELIVING MY ALIAS DAYS. EXCEPT THAT THEY DON’T REALLY DO THE SWITCHEROO THING A LOT. OMG.

Aww, it’s sad that they don’t have a Marshall to change the picture into Sierra’s. Because that will be way too Alias-y and awesome.
Is it me, or was that DeWitt’s elevator?
ALIAS. ASDJFJKLKLSJDFKLDASKALDJFKLDSAJKF! Even the music’s Alias-y.
SIERRA KICKS ASS
Reminds me of Alias’ S3 finale.
“Hmm. Mossad doesn’t even double tag.”
THE TAKING-OFF-THE-WIG-WHILE-RUNNING WAS BRILLIANT.

VICTOR. BRITISH. ACCENT. Asdfjkl.jklksajdflkladsjfaksjflafj
OMG. NICE CAR VICTOR.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD ADELLE HAS A KISSING SCENE (WITH VICTOR/ROGER)
SHE’S PRETTY.
Victor. British Accent. Talking to Adelle. Who has a British Accent. Did Olivia Williams coach him or something?
Wait, stem cells. Harvesting organs from stem cells. And the setting is right nao? AM I THAT BEHIND THE NEWS THAT THIS IS ALREADY HAPPENING IN REAL LIFE? WHAT?

WHAT WAIT THERE’S A FENCING ROOM IN HER HOUSE? WHAT THE HELL? IS SHE THAT LOADED?
And Adelle knows how to fence-brilliantly. Competitive too.

OMG KISSING SCENE.
AND BED SCENE.
“You are perfection.”
Hmmm. Why did she had that strange reaction when Victor/Roger told her that she was the perfect woman? Wasn’t she supposed to expect that?

“I think the universe might collapse under that one.” Lulz. She’s reacting to Victor being a client of Dollhouse.

“I want the real you.” Oh shit.
Olivia Williams is stunning in this scene. Hmmm… pretty.
“And I want the real you.” And the shipper in me got me thinking of something. :D

They have a nice chemistry, Olivia Williams and Enver Gjokaj. Hmm.
I like this scene. She’s smiling a lot.
Victor’s hawt.
Ooh, bare leg. When did that happen?

I like the bed. And omg, moar naked Victor plz.

“We’d never own clocks, or computers or sexy businesswoman shoes.”
- I’m keeping my sexy businesswoman shoes.
Lulz Victor/Roger

Her hair is still perfect. HOW IS THAT EVEN HUMANLY POSSIBLE?! (answer: she’s not human)

Adelle has a lot of kissing scenes in this ep. Which is weird, considering that she doesn’t really have any kissing scenes evarr.

Aww, she’s crying. Why are you crying, awesome woman?

The look on Dominic’s face when Echo said that either Topher was dangerously incompetent or he’s throwing them off the trail is priceless.
Oh, Topher. We know you’re a genius. No need to brag about that.
Ivy, you bring in the lulz. And the juice boxes. That’s what you do.
What, Claire hasn’t left the Dollhouse ever since the Alpha incident? WHAT?
Boyd reminds me of Dixon.

WHAT WAIT. Dominic is the mole. Really? Not surprised but surprised at the same time.

He and Echo wrecked DeWitt’s office. GODDAMNIT.

DEWITT’S HOUSE IS BEAUTIFUL. BY THE BEACH TOO.

Defensive pose.

I liked the interaction. Beautiful. No violence, just exchange of words.

OMG. SHOUTING SCENE. THIS WOMAN DID EVERY EMOTION POSSIBLE IN THIS EP AND I LOVE HER SO FUCKING MUCH FOR IT.

“It’s embarrassing how naïve you are. You believe in the Dollhouse and its mission. It’s like; you believe in me, look at how that played out. You were wrong.”
And that, my dears, is why I think she broke down. LOOK AT HER FACE AFTER HE SAID THAT. OMG.

TORTURE TIEM! Well, not really. Adelle just mentioned it. :(

“What? Do you think I’ll show you mercy? Or rage? Three years by my side. I think you knew me better than that.”
- You're a piece of work.
“So they tell me.”

I like Adelle’s shoes.

Okay, so she cried after she sentenced Mr. Dominic to the attic? Which totally contradicts to what she said to him in her fencing room. Well, no, not really. But still, she cried. SHE BROKE DOWN. Which says a lot about what she thinks of Mr. Dominic.

Wait, was he protecting Echo all this time?

HWAT? HE SHOT HER AND SHE JUST STOOD THERE AND WATCHED HIM BEING WIPED? This is so my kind of ship. People shooting each other. (but if I think about it, if they were watching a different mole being wiped, she would have probably let Mr. Dominic touch her).
She got shot on her side. She’s not even flinching. WHAT KIND OF WOMAN IS THIS?
Okay, she flinched.
Wow, Dominic looking at DeWitt while he’s being wiped. He’s not gonna let her forget this easily, isn’t he?

Dang, ADELLE DEWITT KICKS ASS. AND AN AWESOME BITCH. SHE’S SO FRAKKING AWESOME. OHMYGOD. SHE’S MADE OF ALL KINDS OF AWESOME.

Aww, Dominic’s memories in the archives. So, does that mean that if ever they do get released, the dolls get their memories back?

OKAY. DEWITT REFUSING ANESTHESIA. SHE’S LIKE A HYBRID OF JACK BRISTOW AND IRINA DEREVKO. (YES, SHE’S THAT **~AWESOME~**)
In denial ang bruha. Repression, self-denial, self-denial… if she doesn’t do anything about it, Adelle DeWitt’s going to burst.

“That would imply I lost something.”
- Didn’t you?
“Nothing I can’t live without.”

And deep down, she’s crying inside. Like me. Right now.

Boyd = new head of security.
Echo = new handler
Echo = doesn’t like new handler.
Ergo, they will now have more problems with Echo.

Basically, this episode proves that Adelle DeWitt is very human and very awesome. SHE’S LIKE A HYBRID OF JACK BRISTOW AND IRINA DEREVKO. (YES, SHE’S THAT **~AWESOME~**)

The episode was AWESOME. However, I think they tied this up too neatly. THIS EP RAISED TOO MANY QUESTIONS. I also agree with some of the posts in dollhouse_tv that Dominic might be a mole, but he’s not the only mole in the Dollhouse (or he’s not the right one). In fact, I so do believe this that I still think that DeWitt’s the “real” mole and she was working with Mr. Dominic to bring down everyone. And I think either Topher or Ivy’s working with them too.

Dominic sacrificed himself as the mole to preserve the trust of the Rossum Corporation (because they know that the glitching dolls problem would be noticed by the higher-ups and their positions as moles are threatened if the higher-ups send someone to investigate even further…). If they “neutralize” this threat, the Corporation probably wouldn’t worry about it anymore, which would give them a leeway to do what they need to do. And - I got this from Alias - Mr. Dominic wouldn’t have worked alone. Sydney Bristow was able to bring down SD6 (with the Alliance to boot) with the help of her father, who was also a double agent in SD6 AND one of the higher-ups. To quote Vaughn, “It’s not about cutting off the arm of the monster. It’s about killing the monster.” If the NSA really wants to succeed in bringing down the house, Dominic wouldn’t have been alone in the Dollhouse.

And in my theory, if he’s in cahoots with Adelle and the techs, he knows he can’t compromise their positions. Adelle has a position within the company and Dominic wouldn’t have put that position at risk. If Topher or Ivy was exposed, they would have needed a new programmer. Who’s gonna put secret parameter programs in the dolls? I think Topher or Ivy reacted the way they reacted because they know that there’s a risk that Dominic might out them (since he has the power to do so…). And Dominic reacted the way he reacted when DeWitt told him that he was going to be brought to the Attic is because he didn’t expect that from an ally. He probably expected death or something.

“She made a mistake. And now, she’s sad.” ~ And this. I don’t understand this. Did Echo mean that Adelle made a mistake of trusting Laurence and she’s sad about it? Or did it mean that the imprint made a mistake and because of it Adelle is sad?

You know, I’m not going to be surprised if they take Laurence Dominic out of the Attic for reasons more than the NSA is calling.

My ship’s been Jossed. This is the second time now. Lulz.
Oh, and I made a fic inspired by this ep. lulz again.
