Cid's Awesome Ham and Cheese Sammich with Glaze

May 30, 2007 12:55

Cid's a kitchen chef. He grabs what he needs and doesn't measure. Be forewarned.

Take some maple syrup, the REAL stuff not that grocery store crap, and put it in a microwavable container. Add some honey, a capful of Vanilla Extract, and a capful of almond extract. Mix with a fork and nuke for 30 seconds.

Get out your bread. Any bread will do. A hamburger roll works nicely. Throw some ham on it. Now, take the glaze and brush it over the top piece of bread and over the ham. Slice some swiss cheese (Jarlsburg preferred) and put it on top of the ham. Put on the top piece and toast it until the top burns (or if you're chicken, until it's golden brown). Serve and eat. Chase with a beer. Or some Pepsi if you're underage.
