Derelict Sims
In the later half of the 22nd Century, space exploration is in full swing across the Milky Way. Through the hard work of the Intergalactic Allied Space, Astronomy and Exploration Association, trade and relations flourish across the solar systems. The Earth Division, comfortable with the healthy export of elixirs and potions for every ache and supernatural need, also exhausts their supply of a critical reagent: the Venutian Fireflower.
Not for the first time, the E.D. turn their eyes to the small but unfriendly planet Terrestari, the only other known source of the Fireflower. A system away, Terrestari has spent the better part of two hundred years trying to recover from the collapse of their global biosphere. They are crippled, a planet with few resources and a devastated population.
Emboldened by a revolutionary election and firmly ignoring the history books, the head of the E.D. dispatches a small envoy to test the potential in establishing a fresh trade. Although the envoy leaves with great fanfare, their arrival at Terrestari is the last ever heard of them.
Five years later, the election campaign is failing. As a last resort, a new crew is selected, thrown into a ship and jettisoned to the far edge of their known world. Assigned the task of discovering the fate of their predecessors, they quickly find that the unfriendly planet is nothing short of hostile.
