San Luis Obispo, or Europe?
A just got off the phone with a friend of mine (coincidentally another Landon), and he says he's actually going backpacking throughout Europe in about 6 months. I said, "No way! I was actually thinking of doing that myself in about a year!" He said, "Well, how about 6 months instead? Just throw off your other plans if they're not working, come on out with me."
Well. That's a thought. Huh...
My concern? Me hanging out with Landon and his other buddies in Europe. I dunno what that will look like, but I have some thoughts that it might look like hanging out with my brother and his friends when they go out - me bored and lonely while they get drunk and act inappropriate with women. Hm. That'd be miserable.
But if it wasn't like that, it could very well be quite a learning experience for me. It'd probably take me out of a thousand plus comfort zones, that's for sure... I'd probably be a more mature, different person afterward...
Well, he said to sleep on it, pray and think on it - he'd call me tomorrow after church about 1:00pm. He was on horseback about to start a fight at work (he works at Medieval Times). I think I'll have to take that advice.
I just wonder what I'd do in between now and then? Would I still try to move to San Luis Obispo, or would I stay here? Uhhhhh. I really don't want to stay here - I want to move to San Luis! I really want to make friends with all of them and live in that amazing fun house! Ehhh...
I'll have to find out more info tomorrow, see where he plans on going. If I go with someone, Landon would probably be the man to go with of all people in some ways.
