of being deprived.
while i was playing OGRE BATTLE on the zsnes russell called to tell me that he'll be down at
SAGHALIE
so i told him that i'll be there by the time he got there. i
waited until he called me to tell me he was there before i stopped the
game and got ready. my mom told me to eat before i went, but i
told her that i would when i got home. when i got there AIRA was
there too! which was a surprise. RUSS asked me why i was
late and i told him that my mom wanted me to eat before i left.
we ran the fun run... which wasn't ever fun back in junior high and
still isn't now. the things i do for the ladies. we got
back home and i decided to follow through with my decision that
i thought long and hard about of not showering for a whole week.
the things i do for the ladies. it'll be funny how much i smell
after a week of concert, camping,
running, hopscotch, and the occasional going to the batting cages like
we did today.
so the pretty boys went to shower up before we go to the batting cages
where they offer a buffet of batting for 2 hours for $5. we
tried our best but little kids and girls were getting better aluminum
on the yellow rubber balls than us. aira expressed how he
respects baseball players a lot more after examining his hands and
finding blisters even though he barely made contact.
after we went to azteca, where like the batting cages, they have all
you can eat tacos during happy hour on tuesday and thursday.
russell and i dub tuesdays and thursdays buffet day. aira told us
more about how he was deprived and we planned on going to see a
soccer match together. after seeing the price of the match, i don't think i'll go.
again, a ride home... again now shower... again more OGRE
BATTLE. 20 minutes later they come back and we head off to
ballard for a bon fire. i listened to college grads talk about
going off to grad school after travelling in eastern asia for a while,
aira talk about how he was deprived, played some bongos with the local
street musician that we met down there, and had a buffet of
smores. 6 seems to be my limit. we left a little early b/c
aira drove us and had to get home...
"MAN I CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUTTA HERE!" he yells as he pushes the old 90 camry to 110 on teh freeway "I'VE BEEN DEPRIVED!!!"
he leaves for grad school in two weeks. i plan on meeting him in new york sometime after he settles in.
