Campground Falls

Set off with a friend from the photo club yesterday to shoot the moonrise against the Seattle/Cascade skyline - only to be thwarted by a road covered in more snow than my minivan could handle. On the way back, we found a campground called "Falls View Campground", but the gates were closed... Inquiring at the Ranger station, we were told that we could park at the gates and hike back to the falls.

Despite the overcast skies, the view was wonderful! They weren't overcast in the direction we would have been shooting though, and on the drive home we kept getting peek-a-boo views of the photos we might have gotten had we been able to reach the overlook we'd been trying for...

Will definitely be re-visiting this campground in better light. Not only because of the waterfall, but because of all the wonderful moss.
