Flippin' Sweet
Weather's great. Work today was productive. Studied hard. Got a lot of reading done, and yet, I'm still going to be screwed for my tests tomorrow. Two midterms, one in Japanese, the other in Modern Chinese Writers. Tuesday/Wednesday has oral tests in store for me for both Chinese AND Japanese. What a coincidence. Then Thursday and Friday are going to be reading and writing midterms for Chinese.
I'm able to graduate. I talked with Shen Laoshi, and after some discussion, she was able to transfer credits from Modern Chinese Writers to Chinese Poetry, and I will be on my way to live a happier, fitter, more fulfilling life *side note: yeah right*
I hope to teach in China for the next year. Anyone who can help me out or give me any ideas, give me a shout. I already finished one application, but it's only for the summer, and it conflicts with Cy-Tag, so it's probably out of the question. I'd like to think I'd make a terrific teacher. And if not terrific or effective, then really fun.
Plans are coming to fruition concerning my Texas spring break! I'll be driving down with Wendy, and we'll get to hang out with Rachel which will be fantastically fun. Partying, film festival, shopping, warm weather.
I wish I had more time to devote to a fuller, more satisfying entry, but I really should get studying.
And big thank you to all of my friends. You guys really are the best. And if anyone tells you otherwise, give me his/her name and address. I'll take care of the rest! And by taking care of them, I really mean that I'll place a flaming bag of dog shit on their doorstep.
