Shortly after I moved here, my father gave to me a book that he thought might interest me. (I use gave in the sense that he handed it to me, not that it was a gift or something that should become mine.) It is a series of thoughts by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and the title is "The Path to Tranquility." Myself, I'm all for tranquility. I know that I am far from attaining inner peace, but anything to set me on that path is more than welcomed. So, with this in mind, I'm going to post an entry from it in my journal everyday. The book is set up more like a calendar, so it works out conveniently enough. And for all you people that have religious issues, or issues with religions other than christianity, keep in mind this isn't scripture or an assualt against your personal beliefs, just little thoughts that might help to put things into perspective. And please, don't insult or attack any of these things. I'm not a christian, and if you want to get into one of those arguments, find someone else. I'm too old to deal with shit like that anymore. So, without further adieu, today's entry.
Ahem.
