[Derek is both glad to see her, and dreads it a little too. Last time he spent more than a few minutes around her, Donnie was actually in her body, and he and Raphael both had been painfully hunger-inducing human. The unnerving body switch may have been over, but she was still April, and Derek was still hesitant to stay near her.
He'd started to trust her, after all...and wanting to have her company. And still suffering from that subtle, but strong need that insisted that she would make a fine meal indeed, and if she was as happy to see him...
Derek clamped down on that thought proces. It wasn't anything that he hadn't had to deal with in the past year, living here in Luceti, but...it didn't help that he was interested in her in more than one way.]
