I need to wrap my gifts.
Also, is alcohol an appropriate gift for a boy you are dating? I mean, it's the type of expensive liquor he likes...and he was so bummed when someone jacked his extra bottle of the stuff from the wedding.
I was told by a guy to put something cute and personal with it because guys are apparently very sentimental about that sort of thing?
I do not understand the subtleties of gift giving.
(Maybe I would have been if I had been more social when I was younger. But that is neither here nor there. A childhood spent reading and riding your bike down a rotten staircase into blackberry bushes is not a childhood to be ashamed of.)
I dread this time of year.
I also need to learn to keep my mouth shut about facts and stuff. People dislike being corrected no matter how gently you do it and become extremely irritated when you quote an entire conversation back at them.
The holidays wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the shoppers. And listening to the same three songs and their trillions of covers for two months straight.
