Loose on the world again!
Well, I just finished my last night as a security guard at ConocoPhilips. I've been there since February 2006, and now I'm free. So now I get two weeks of rest and relaxation. Must be Caturday. Lol. I start classes at Western on the 24th. Campus security practically jumped at the chance to hire me. While they would love to put me on the midnight shift, I think I've had enough of those to last me for a while. As it is, I'll most likely be waking up early to do the 4am-8am shift. I can't seem to escape night jobs. Apparently I look like the sort of person who should be nocturnal.
Ah, I've missed this feeling. My soul feels like my legs do after walking 4 miles with 20-pound weights strapped to them: light, and slightly tired. Time to play. My hair is down, and I'll have the goatee back in a week.
The sun is bright. The sky is clear. The trees are still mostly green. Fall is in the air. Fall...time to go back to school.
The day is glorious.
