Ahhh, so school has finally started, and I'm already tired. I hate getting up at 6AM every morning just to get there by 8AM..why must I live so far away? ;o; Oh well, my classes seem a bit better this year than the last (the profs, at least), so I'm hoping I'll be able to apply myself more..can't slack off this year. ^^; The only thing that saddens me is that I MIGHT not be able to take my current Japanese class, being that I've already taken 2 years of it in high school, though it does say that only those who have taken up to the grade 12 level cannot register for Jap 101. I hope I don't have to drop because honestly, I can hardly remember what I learned. I haven't practiced Japanese at all for almost over 2 years now. I mean, sure I can read/write hiragana and katakana, and introduce myself (that's pretty damn straightfoward), all the basic stuff, but everything else I'm pretty unsure about. I still have to talk to my instructor and convince her (or the director) to let me stay. I wouldn't care if they marked me harder than the others in the class. I just want a thorough teaching of it because if they move me up to 102, I will be royally fucked because looking through the syllabus, I don't know basically the second half of the course. :\ Ahhh, I'll end my rant now..sorry, I'm just worried..I really want to do well this year. Wish me luck! ^^;
But as for the good news, I found out that I can return one of my Anthropology textbooks, which will help me pay for the Economics one. Hopefully the line-up won't be quite so bad tomorrow morning. ^^; Also got my new phone, a
Sony Ericsson K608i! It's sexy. :DD
Blah blah, now to wait for my laundry to finish before I can sleep. Sadness. And I get to look forward to another 5 hours of work after school tomorrow. The only good thing is that I can expect my last big, fat paycheck before I cut down my hours.
