Phew!
Well, yesterday was somewhat of a blast. I went to Great America yesterday with the park district and I actually went on a few rides, even though I had the small kids that weren't always tall enough. They were great troopers though when the rest of us went on the rides. I was not able to go on Superman and Ragin Kajun. grrrr. I'll just have to go again with grownups that want to ride some coasters. I did make a couple girls go on Batman with me and they were freaking out in line and not feeling well cuz they were nervous. When we got off, they wanted to go on again, but we didn't have time. At least they didn't feel sick afterward and I didn't have to clean anything up. Talk about gross. We did have a puker though after lunch. That kid was fine. Talk about a brave soul. She walked around the rest of the day as if nothing happened.
After I got home, I watched my nieces, who are always rambunctious with me. I was soo not in the mood to play with their goofiness and they got mad at me. Oh well. I was TIRED!!
I had an interview this morning, only to find out the band program is cut for next year and they are looking for a K-8 general music teacher. HAH! That is soo not me, but I went through the ropes anyway. Who knows? If I get the job, maybe I'll like that more than band.
Then I had to go work for a few hours, which wasn't by any means awful at all. Just long and boring, like it usually is. Good thing I have a little income coming in or I wouldn't be able to pay off my credit card. hehehe
I have my sister's dog tonight because it's the first night that Jessica is home. Ginger, the dog, was really thirsty so we gave her water. Now I have to keep letting her out every 15 minutes or so to go pee. grrrrr. She better not keep me up all night. That won't make me happy, but she's cute and fluffy! She's all nice and clean with the bath I gave her tonight. She's still shedding everywhere and my blankets are covered with puppy hair. Oh well. At least it comes off in the wash....or at least most of it does.
