*lol* I haven't the time to browse through other ppl's journal, since I'm still in school. I just read about it in the newspaper when I was having lunch today.

YAY JOSE !!

I heard it on the radio, complete with his own statement and that from Hoeneß. He sounded calm and Hoeneß sounded really sad. :/

I read it in the newspaper that Hoeness and Rudi Voeller and Joachim Loew were really upset :(

But if Basti is happier now, then I wish all the best of luck for him.

The poor kid missed two World Cups because of injuries and had depressions.
I guess he's happier now.

He's not as fit as he wants to be and is suffering from depression because of it.. I guess he feels it will be better for his mental health, but Uli has said if he wants to come back they'll keep a spot for him.
Maybe he just needs to get his head straight.

I know about his injuries, but I don't really know about his depression. Was it caused by his injuries and all?

Well I think it added to it. Its hard not being able to do what you're "made" to do.

Yeah, I guess. But Basti's known for having a weak mental state, even though he's a good player.

I mean, Michael Owen's been in and out of injuries too, that's threatening to wreak his carreer. Same goes for Harry Kewell.

Ah, well. Football's not everything. If he can find something else that'll make him happy, I'm all for it.
