Ok, so I downloaded the song "the cat came back," because it's an awesome song. And I just happened to download a version Raffi did. And I'm listening to it, when all of a sudden they get to this verse, which I had either never heard before or had totally forgotten about:
"Now the man around the corner swore he'd kill that cat on sight, he loaded up his shotgun with nails and dynamite, he waited and he waited for the cat to come around...97 pieces of the man was all that they found."
Kinda surprised me when I heard that. Not what you expect from Raffi usually. A little more...explosion-y than, say, the wheels on the bus. I wonder if the people who complain about violent rap music have ever heard this song? What do you suppose they'd say?
