Because it's not always easy to say it out loud.
Confessions are so difficult, aren't they? It's just easier to write it out on paper! So much easier! But what about giving it to the one you love? Well, no matter the case this time, the object of your affections is receiving the letter. Can you handle your feelings being exposed? Are you relieved it was through written word that you know expresses your sentiment, or are you afraid you came on too strong? Well, I suppose we're going to find out, aren't we...?
The steps are simple!
1) Post with your character discovering an envelope. Was it in their mailbox? On their desk? In their bag?? Where???
2) Next character will tag your post, revealing what the letter says! Are you a sappy romantic? More tame? Is it a short poem? A huge long letter, that takes multiple pages? Did you intend for them to get the letter, or was this an accident?? Well shoot, too late to take it back now, isn't it?
3) REACTIONS! How do you react to receiving a letter? To having your letter read?
4) PROFIT!
