There was an assault on campus last night. And while realistically I know that the chances of that happening to me are unlikely (especially now that I've secured my own personal escort home), I can't help but think of all the other times I believed my friends or loved ones invulnerable. And I can't help but think that this is something we could be doing better on, to make sure it doesn't happen to other women.
