Just wanted to say that I would totally read your Buffalo Jump fic! That is a fandom I've been wishing for more fic in. : )

Excellent! Validation! I love that film SO MUCH and I'll have to be careful not write a whole fic which boils down to OMG I AM SO ATTRACTED TO PAUL GROSS I CANNOT FUNCTION (this is a very real danger). The interesting part for me is the dynamic where Sophie is fairly clearly the one in charge and they're both happy with that. I had better go and rewatch it. You know, for *research.*

I really like the canon het couple in that movie, too! (Also I like Annie, and I received some excellent Annie/Alex backstory as a gift a while ago. It's on the AO3.)

I actually think PG is hotter when he's slightly older than he is in that movie? Like, S1 Benton Fraser is the apex of PG's hotness, IMO, or maybe that's just the character. Although, hey, I definitely appreciate him in Buffalo Jump, too.

I have been thinking ALL DAY about the apex of Paul Gross's hotness. S1 Fraser is clearly mighty fine; and I also deeply appreciate wild-eyed growling Geoffrey Tennant. But something about his submissive cowboy act in Buffalo Jumps really, really works for me. It's like they went to all this effort to film him looking really fucking pretty while doing what he's told, and it would just be ungrateful of me to remain unmoved.

Perhaps I will think about this question some more. In my bunk, as they say.
