1.3: 13 things you rememember about your childhood.
1. Riding the subway to Yankee stadium with my dad. It was our thing.
2. Throwing a baseball through the window having a tantrum when I was 7. This is what happens to kids who are raised in city apartments.
3. Playing little league,
4. My mom telling me I was going to have a little brother or sister
5. Spending a lot of time at nonna and nonno’s apartment while my mom was pregnant. (I now understand that this is when they found out that my little sister was going to be born with Downs Syndrome)
6. Painting the carpet at school.
7. Sitting up all night with my nonna playing cards when nonno was having a coronary bypass.
8. Sleeping in the bed with nonna because she was so frightened she didn’t want to be alone
9. Getting my first drum kit
10. Teaching Tina to play Crazy 8’s
11. Getting beaten that by Tina at Crazy 8’s that same night
12. Chasing Connie Farraday around the school yard in 1st grade, threatening to kiss her
13. Being chased by Connie Farraday in the 8th grade
