A lab accident caused me to go to the ER. It wouldn't have been so bad, but the chemical I got in the wound, P2O5, turns into phosphoric acid when exposed to water. Thinking, "I have to get the glass shards out!" I ran the cut under water, and caused an acid burn.
At the ER, I got four stitches. Battle wounds!
No but really, it really hurts and he doctor took out a lose piece of sub-cutaneous fat. I couldn't decide whether to be disgusted or fascinated, and he said, "you must be a scientist."
