Hi, I'm depudor, and I'm losing my mind.
I have a weird question, and I need help from anyone who's as obsessed with TV as I am:
The other day I was thinking about Logan vs. Duncan, active vs. passive, and had this memory of a scene involving a swimming pool and somebody almost drowning in the pool. In my extremely vague recollection of this, it was Beaver in the pool, and Logan went in after him, and everyone pointed out how passive Duncan was because he just stood there, but then it turned out that it was Logan's fault that Beaver had passed out in the pool in the first place, or something like that.
The problem is, this scene doesn't seem to exist. But does it sound familiar to anyone else?
1. Is this a scene from another TV show, and I've replaced the characters in my head with characters from VM? I've tried picturing the guys from The O.C. in the same scenario, but it doesn't make sense. Dawson's Creek had a similar L/D dynamic with Dawson and Pacey, but they didn't spend a lot of time around swimming pools.
2. Is this a scene from a fanfic?
3. Did I dream this?
It's really driving me crazy, so if anyone can solve this puzzle for me, please let me know. Thanks!

Wendy solved it! It's a flashback of an 09er party in theohara's VM Season Two fic, "2x07: Peaceful Conduct," which I must've dreamt about at some point and embellished it. If you haven't read her series, you must check it out, because it's awesome. This might be my brain's subtle way of telling me that I like this virtual season two more than the actual season two.
