I'm firmly convinced

I'm firmly convinced that outer change cannot be seen or felt without inner change happening first.  Some need more inner work than others, but I believe it happens for all.  Without the will and resolve to make changes in your outer being.  And it is always nice to see those outer changes reflected.  Especially when someone comments on it.  "You look full of light", is a comment I received at the party I went to last week.

Things like that make you feel so much better about yourself and your world.  Keeping in mind that it takes 10 positive comments and reflections to omit 1 negative comment or reflection.  It's easier to focus on the negatives, rather than the positives.  It really has to do with your mindset, which is hard to change.  In fact, this requires so much inner work and deprogramming that you received as a child.

If you look at your life, it does seem to repeat itself and go in a circular motion.  When do we decide to break the cycle and forge on and make our own way?  When is the breaking point?  When does it happen?  Is it like a lightning bolt, or a gradual progression to the point where you decide to break free?

When that time comes...how quick is the work to be taken?  I'm sure it is different for all due to the type of inner work that needs to be done and the amount that needs to be performed.  When you are resolved on this course of action there would be no end in sight to the amount of things that you could change and make better.  It comes to realizing that you are good the way you are, but you could always be better right?  Whether this is in regards to physical beauty, emotional beauty, spiritual beauty, or mental beauty.

I firmly believe that everything starts off internal and then becomes external by radiating out.  It only takes  a drop of water to make those ripples of change.

What will you drops be?
