Summary: Hiro plays Cupid, but it's not his meddling hands that help Nathan Petrelli and Izzie Stevens find one another.

#01 - Ring
Hiro watches as Izzie's eyes wander down to Nathan's hands; her own eyes sparkle as her eyes stay glued to the gold ring resting on his finger.
#02 - Hero
It doesn't take long for Hiro to realise what Izzie Stevens really needs; a hero.
#03 - Memory
Nathan's memory seems to run dry whenever he's in the same room as Izzie; Hiro notices that whenever the pretty blonde is in the room, existence of Heidi Petrelli vanishes into thin air.
#04 - Box
Nurse Olivia hands Izzie a pretty red box, and when she opens the lid, tears begin to fall.
#05 - Run
Hiro likes George, and George likes Hiro, but when George tells Hiro, one day while he's eating on his break, what Izzie needs, that's when Hiro realises the one thing he must do to help her, "She run? I won't let her run; I am a hero."
#06 - Hurricane
It's like a hurricane has settled in the room next door in Isaac's New York apartment; Hiro cringes as he hears Nathan yell into the phone to his wife, telling her that he's not sleeping with a blonde intern who just happens to have a dead (rich) fiancée and eight million dollars in the bank.
#07 - Wings
Hiro's in the elevator with Nathan and Izzie when Izzie falls back against the wall, sliding down the pink and resting her head on her knees as she draws her hands around herself, making herself as small as she can be, and Nathan immediately wraps her up in his arms; like a parent bird wraps their baby up in their wings.
#08 - Cold
Hiro feels lost when Meredith Grey is losing her life as water drowns out her lungs, and he tries to squint with all his might, to use his power to turn back time and perhaps save her, save George and Izzie and Alex and Bailey the pain, but all he feels is a swarm of air, like a hand gripping a cup, suffocating him as he's still stuck in the same position as before.
#09 - Red
Isaac's new painting is like a kick to the gut; it's red, with the slightest hint of blue scrubs, blonde hair and brown eyes.
#10 - Drink
Hiro plays darts with Alex, who grumbles and mutters as he chances a look at Izzie and Nathan, drinking and laughing as Joe keeps cracking jokes.
#11 - Midnight
It's midnight when Hiro turns around on the sidewalk and sees Nathan give Izzie a peck on the cheek as the stars shine brightly in the darkest of skies, and he can't help but feel the pit of his stomach roll like the fiercest storm among the waves.
#12 - Temptation
Hiro likes Izzie's muffins and cakes, and it's when she's licked the bowl (by using her finger to gather the bits) that she offers some to Nathan (who is right beside him on a stool) and he doesn't fight the temptation he's been battling for weeks as his mouth engulfs her slender finger, and elicits a laugh that brightens the day ten times more.
#13 - View
Ferryboats make Hiro sick, but when he looks over the railing to the lower level, and sees Nathan wrap his arms around Izzie, he starts to like the view and ferryboats (before sickness overthrows him and he starts hating the latter again).
#14 - Music
Izzie pulls Hiro up into a dance, crazily leading him around the room in Meredith Grey's house, and all he can hear is Izzie's laughter and Nathan's overriding the music, and it's all he needs to hear to make his slight turn of the lips into a full-fledged smile.
#15 - Silk
Nathan's hands run through Izzie's hair, and it's almost like silk as it shines and easily moves through his playful gestures, and Hiro looks away, pleased with himself and how Cupid-like he is.
#16 - Cover
It begins to rain when they're walking back to the hospital from Joe's, and Nathan pulls off his jacket and places it delicately over Izzie's head, his arms wrapping around her shoulders, and Hiro hears him whisper in her ear, "Don't worry, I've got you covered."
#17 - Promise
Izzie's locked herself in the bathroom on Denny Duquette's six month death anniversary, and Nathan won't leave the door, his head pressed against the wooden barrier as he talks through the door calmly to a hysterical Izzie, "I promise I won't leave you, I won't leave you no matter what comes after me, whether it be death or Linderman; you can count on me Iz."
#18 - Dream
Hiro has a dream that everything will be okay; that Isaac's painting won't mean a thing, but the unsettling feeling he feels in the pit of his stomach later, right after he sees Nathan kiss Izzie on the cheek as she makes them pancakes, haunts him until it's too late to bend space and time.
#19 - Candle
Peter doesn't like the idea of Nathan doing whatever he's doing with Izzie Stevens, but Hiro smiles as Nathan's voice isn't stern and argumentative, but more calm and loving and as soft as Izzie's blonde locks, "She's the candle in the darkness, Pete."
#20 - Talent
Izzie doesn't have a power; but Hiro thinks she's talented nonetheless for when she drills into a man's head and manages to save his life.
#21 - Silence
Hiro's not the one to dream of the future, but he dreams of a darkness, Izzie and silence; petrifying silence that makes him whimper and call Ando, just so he can hear something that's real and alive and doesn't make him think of death and blood and Charlie.
#22 - Journey
Their journey as heroes isn't ever going to end; but Izzie's has just started as she sends a glass vase smashing into the wall without even picking it up.
#23 - Fire
There's fire in Nathan's eyes the night he looks at Izzie, he's been drinking and she's been drinking, and they're laughing on the kitchen floor; Hiro, who is still sober, looks away and doesn't think of what's to come later that night between them.
#24 - Strength
Nathan brings Izzie to New York for two days, and it takes all his strength to let her see the painting of red, blue and golden locks.
#25 - Mask
The mask Nathan wears disappears whenever she's around; it's like that part of him has been erased, and Hiro believes it's for the best.
#26 - Ice
Her hands are as cold as ice as they shake uncontrollably; Hiro only wishes he could bend space and time and erase the memory of Sylar's almost-successful attack.
#27 - Fall
"Izzie was falling," Meredith tells Nathan the next day they return to Seattle, and the intern corners him at the nurses station at Seattle Grace, "and you caught her, no scars, no harm done; it's like you flew up and caught her in the knick of time."
#28 - Forgotten
It's like Izzie's forgotten Denny; almost.
#29 - Dance
She's a blur of red as Nathan guides her around the dance floor at one of his politician parties.
#30 - Body
Nathan's hands glide over Izzie's body, he touches her like he's touching porcelain, afraid that if he uses too much force, she'll break.
#31 - Sacred
"It's not like our powers come from some sacred prophecy or something," Nathan shrugs as he laughs and nuzzles his nose into Izzie's hair; the raging storm rushing through Hiro's veins suggests the complete opposite.
#32 - Farewells
"Farewell, Flying Man," Hiro waves as he has to go; he has to go save the world by stealing Linderman's sword, and he's going to try without involving anyone else on this dangerous mission.
#33 - World
"Save the cheerleader, save the world?" Izzie turns the globe in Isaac's loft, watching as each continent and country begins to blur in front of her eyes.
#34 - Formal
They've never been formally introduced, but when Izzie meets Peter Petrelli, her stomach is swirling violently and she can't shake off the feeling of something being kept secret.
#35 - Fever
Nathan's the fever that won't leave her alone, and she calls Hiro one day to gush about it; Hiro, on the other end, doesn't completely understand and believes that the feeling in his gut is finally taking grasp of her lovely creamy neck.
#36 - Laugh
Her laugh makes him smile, but it's not forced or his practised one; it's Nathan Petrelli being happy with the pretty blonde doctor who is way too good for him, and is making him feel things he's not supposed to be feeling (and things he's not meant to be doing).
#37 - Lies
Izzie screams and everything around them starts to rattle, and Nathan tries to calm her down, but she can't keep all her emotions in as she yells out, causing a crack in the window; "You're married? Seriously!?"
#38 - Forever
Hiro always thought forever meant something; that it was until the ends of the earth something will last, and he thought that this applied to Nathan and Izzie, but as he watches Nathan drown himself in liquor, he's not so sure if these fairytale endings exist.
#39 - Overwhelmed
Everything is falling around her as she realises she's slept with her best friend.
#40 - Whisper
Her voice is like a whisper on the phone, and he replays the voicemail over and over again until Peter deletes it and pulls the cord out of the socket.
#41 - Wait
Nathan's in Seattle again (against Peter's wishes) and he's in the elevator, his leg bouncing in anticipation and nervousness, and that's when Derek Shepherd (McDreamy) laughs and turns to him, "All you need to do is wait, or use the elevator."
#42 - Talk
"We need to talk," Nathan says to Izzie as she tries to ignore him, but he stops the elevator from ascending and forces her to listen.
#43 - Search
Sylar's still out there, searching for the next hero, but it doesn't bother Nathan as he nibbles on Izzie's bottom lip and backs her up against a wall.
#44 - Hope
It sparkles in her eyes, and sets his whole being on fire; maybe there is hope in the future (a future with buildings and everything intact) for Nathan Petrelli and Isobel Stevens.
#45 - Eclipse
There's blood, blue scrubs and blonde hair before him, but she's still faintly breathing as her forehead bleeds over her creamy face as she shakes on Isaac's loft floor; he's worried his candle's going to be blown out and taken away from him way too early than he'd wish.
#46 - Gravity
Claire's his daughter, but it doesn't make Izzie run as tears form in her eyes and she pulls out a picture of a pretty blonde girl that she calls 'Sarah'; he feels suddenly lighter, like all of his secrets are out there in the open, and it feels damn good for Izzie to be the one who knows.
#47 - Highway
There's a collision on the highway, and Izzie's stuck at the hospital all day, though Nathan doesn't leave the hospital, for fear that he'll lose her like Seattle Grace almost lost Meredith Grey.
#48 - Unknown
He knows he can't protect her forever, and even though Hiro keeps telling him he's Flying Man, a superhero, he knows he's an average normal person to when it comes to the unknown.
#49 - Lock
They're locking all the doors and windows of Meredith's house with bolts, even though he's doubting Sylar uses the door to enter and exit buildings, but it quenches the worry in the pit of his stomach nonetheless to know that she's safe.
#50 - Breathe
It's hard to breathe when the thought of losing her enters his mind, but every time she smiles and kisses him, the air around Nathan Petrelli seems a little lighter.
