Good to be home....

Christmans rocked. Audra's family is huge- I mean huge. Christmas night was marked with a gathering of about sixty people. All of them close relatives to my girl. I was very overwhelmed with meeting so many new people. Everyone was extremely welocoming and friendly. I felt very comfortable and at home.

We decided to drive out there instead of fly (well I decided- I've never been to the east coast and I wanted to see as much of it as possible. Plus I wanted to be able to spend some alone time with Audra in the mix of all the holiday festivities) And of course, my girl was more than happy to pack up the truck and take me on my first road trip to the east coast (she's so sweet). We traveled through Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Maryland before making it to Delaware. On the way in we stopped off in Maryland to go to Washington D.C. It was awesome. I saw the White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam and WWII memorial's. All of these new sights to me. We also stopped in Maryland at Inner Harbor (part of Baltimore) it was a happening place. Lot's of night life and sorts. All-in-all and after all our sight-seeing it took us about 15 hrs. to make it to Smyrna, Delaware.

Let me tell you something about this Smyrna place. We're talking farms, farms, and more farms. It is pretty cool though- all these farms are family deals passed on from generation to generation. Audra's dad (the Jarman's) owned a huge farm. I was in awe at the never-ending property. It was beautiful.

Delaware is amazing. I want to move there.

It's back to work for me... Program Staff Meeting. I will ramble on later.

Peace!!!
