This is actually a profile banner, so I got
from
The base is already sharpened (Filter/Sharpen/Unsharp Mask).
STEP 1.
I've added two screen layers (100%) and a soft light layer (100%). Our image now looks like
this.
STEP 2.
New adjustment layer > Hue/Saturation
~Master: Saturation: +21
~Cyans: Saturation: +31
STEP 3.
New adjustment layer > Selective colors
REDS: Yellow: -25
YELLOWS: Yellow: -12
CYANS: Cyan: +100
BLUES: Cyan: +100
NEUTRALS: Cyan: +100
The image now looks like
this.
STEP 4.
Create a new layer and fill it with #4051a7 (dark greyish blue), set the layer to soft light with 48% opacity.
STEP 5.
Another new layer, fill it with #407ca7 (another greyish blue), soft light, 100%. The image looks kinda good now,
check it out, but Warrick's face is all wrong because of the light (I suppose it's the light of the screen). To correct it, read step 6.
STEP 6.
Use your Polygonal Lasso Tool to select the wrong part of his face. (If you're not sure which part it is, see
this image.
Create a new layer with this selection, fill it with #b84435 (dark orange/red). Fill the selection ONLY, set the layer to Soft light, 100%. Finally, use the Blur tool to blur the lighter line on his face.
You are done! :) Hope that helped.
