well i did it, i finally changed my major. after being miserable in the education department i finally made up the decision to get the fuck out of there. i have lost all ambition to become a teacher, and deal with how fucked up the education system that NY has given us and i really don't think that i want to be confined in a class room for the rest of my life. so then the light turned on one day when i was redecoration our entire house, that that is what i want to do. Interior Design is the perfect major for me. i have always been involved with the Arts and i love to draw and rearrange shit. plus the possibilities are endless with this major. i could become a wedding and special occasion cordinator, i could go on to decorate movie sets, casinos, houses, even have my own damn TV show if i really wanted LOL! And heres the good and bad parts to this whole thing, OCC has an awesome design program (actually ranked one of the top schools for design) but there r not a ton of 4 year schools that offer this major. i found a few in NYC (which i am not too crazy about going there) a couple in boston, and then go figure Syracuse University offers it but tuition is like a billion dollars a year.
so i am looking for opinions
what r your thoughs????????
