why r people so narrow minded?!?!?!?!
okay so u know all the gangsters that hang around my dorm and stuff...well i convinced to of the guys to watch queer as folk with my roomie kristina and i! it was so funny watching them watch it...they were squirming in their chairs and stuff. one left but i was surprised, one actually stayed and watched the whole episode one, and was truly interested and asking questions about the people in the show. so yes my goal is complete, i have gotten a hetero male into queer as folk!
but one thing that did piss me off, and i made it very clear that i was pissed off was this one stupid little blond bitch that was hanging out in our suite. she was making all these comments about gay people and how they r gross and that she couldn't even watch queer eye for the straight guy, because gay people were in it. i told her that she was narrow minded and needed to broaden her horizons. then she said some comment about to one of the guys about her thinking i was gay! that is what really pushed me over the edge. just because i believe in gay rights means i am gay?!?! so not true! what is wrong with people?!?!? i find it very sad that this person can't just like a person for who they are and not who they are. ignorance is a very ugly thing. and until you have fully educated yourself on everything, u have ZERO right to mock someone else for their beliefs.
what an amazing world it would be if we could all just stop, and accept all the people around us....sadly i don' t think a world like that will ever exist.
