"woke up this morning, feeling fine, there's someone special, on my mind, last night I met a new girl in the neighborhood"... we all know Herman's Hermits are good... and honestly they have the most adorable songs... and the singer is adorable... especially when he says daughter... he is cute... I love it...
"he don't love you like I love you, don't think about you like I think about you, he don't want to have your children, he don't want to build his life around you"- daniel beddingfield... you know what, fix that phrasing... "he don't want to have your children"... the woman has the children... the man doesn't do much after the sex... I mean the woman carries the kid, gives birth, so in the end, its not that he doesn't want to have her children... its that he doesn't want to father her children... get it right... because if a man told me he wanted to have my kids, my reply would be "please do, I want to see that happen, go ahead, squeeze a baby out of you"... anyway, that is my problem with that song... granted its a sweet song... but still... that phrasing bothers me...
I took three oranges from the cafeteria because I am addicted to oranges right now... we have replaced apples with oranges... apples replaces watermelon... watermelon replaces mangos... I go through fruit phases... its fun... and you know it
"hey you've got to hide your love away"- eddie veder sings that on the I Am Sam soundtrack... I love the beatles singing it... but I love Eddie Veder... I admit, I love Pearl Jam... not going to lie...
I did my presentation today, it went smoothly... fun stuff... we taught the class all about Taoism... fun stuff... and it all worked out... but we finished like 5 minutes early... oops... but oh well
tomorrow I have my midterm... and my community service logs are due... and my prompts are due... and I have readings to do... and yeah... fun
volunteering today... and I will then have 8 hours and 15 minutes completed for the semester so far, I need 15 by the end of the semester... and I was sick for 3 weeks, so didn't go for 3 weeks, so I luckily and a geek and went a lot prior to being sick and went a lot this week, so I am fine hour wise... which is good.
2 days until break :) and Florida on Monday... I get into Florida at like 5:15pm... exciting... I can't wait to see my grandfather... I love that man and miss him terribly in the winter when he goes to Florida. He is my favorite person in the whole world... hands down... so I am excited to see him... downside is my step-grandmother... I always feel like she hates me... oh well... my grandfather and me... thats all that matters.. and he is excited to show me off to his friends and he is excited to show me the manatees... and I can't wait to see him... I miss him
My mom bought me Lady and the Tramp on DVD because its my favorite disney movie... and she knows I wanted it, and the tape we have of it (we taped it off TV) is ruined... so she is sweet to have bought it for me... it was nice of her... but I told her she didn't have to buy me it...
anyway... I am off to lunch and class and then volunteering... and then back to the room to edit all my prompts, type up my log, study for my midterm, and read for my US history class.
