It's snowing!

I can't believe it.  Last weekend we went to the beach, and today it snowed for a little bit and it's freezing!! I know that I shouldn't be complaining because it's like 10 degrees today in Maine and you have had lots of snow, but even though I've only been here a week I've gotten used to being warm!  At least it's not snowing anymore, but it's still cold.

I've been busy for the past few days.   On Friday night, I went out with a small group to go "tapas hopping".  Essentially, we're trying to find a really good tapas bar here, and so we went to about 5, trying different tapas at different places.  Then yesterday, I slept in (finally!), and later met up with people at a cafe to try some delicious Spanish pastries.  After that a few of us went to a park near my house and they played frisbee while I watched (although towards the end they just started throwing it at me so I either had to catch it or get hit).  I didn't do anything last night, but it was nice to rest, and after dinner I was so tired that going out was the last thing I wanted to do.

Today, we all went to a nearby suburb/town, to see the birth place of Frederico Garcia Borca.  I didn't know who he was, but apparently he was a famous and important Spanish poet and writer.  We went with Mari Carmen, who I swear didn't stop talking for 2 hours - she has more energy than I, and seems to know everything about where we go.  It was pretty interesting, but I think it would have been more interesting if I had known who he was....and if it hadn't been so cold :P

As for food, I've eaten a lot of tapas (which are appetizers, kind of), and last night for dinner I had a full fish.  It didn't have a head, but the skin was still kind of on there and the tail was definetly there.  Kind of creepy, but I managed.  We just had lunch, and it was a dish that was made out of eggs, rice, cheese, tomato and green beans and carrots.  It sounds really strange, but it tasted pretty much like a veggie omlet with tomato in it; it was good.  And, Maete also made empenadas, which are always good.

As for this afternoon, I'm pretty sure I'm going to lay low.  I need to do homework for tomorrow anyway, and I doubt anyone is going to want to do anything in this awful weather.   HOWEVER, I have finished re-watching Big Love Season 4, and so I don't have anything besides homework to do.  New episode tonight, though, and I can't WAIT to watch it tomorrow.   THIS SHOW IS SO GOOD, PEOPLE.
