It's been over a week, and yet I am still reeling from the fact that Lost - one of my favorite things on this fair Earth - is now over. I've decided that I love the way that they ended it. At first, I was upset at the lack of solid answers - the "why's" and "how's" of the show's more mystical properties, such as the smoke monster and that mysterious light that we're not sure what it is. But then I re-watched the episode (and I cried about 10 times, by the way), and realized that what I love about Lost - and what the show was ultimately about - is the characters. And that's what the ending of the show was about. So I'm okay with that.
I'm still trying to picture a world where I'm not looking forward to a new episode or season of Lost...it's a little hard to digust (Watching Buffy is helping a lot, though :P) As a way of saying goodbye, I came up with my 42 favorite Lost moments.
# 42 - Charlie's Greatest Hit
Season 3 - Greatest Hits

I love this entire episode. It was a beautiful way to say goodbye to Charlie, and this moment was the pinacle of the episode. As an avid Charlie/Claire fan, this was such a great moment, because it was when Charlie admitted that she was the best part of his life.
# 41 - Desmond Hume is my constant
Season 4 - The Constant
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLmbvbxRM_c&feature=PlayList&p=95FF215A48FB2299&playnext_from=PL&playnext=1&index=16 This moment was such a cool way to end my favorite episode of Lost...this entire episode took the mythology of the show to another level, and the ending of this episode is the kind of ending that Lost does best: the kind that makes you go "Huh? What?!?? OH MY GOD!" Classic.
#40 - Orientation Video
Season 2 - Orientation

The first time we are introduced to Dr. Marvin Candle/Pierre Chang!! I'm going to be honest: this video freaked me out the first time I saw it. I was expecting something scary to jump out at any minute...for some reason :P You have to remember, during this time we knew absolutely nothing about the Hatch or the Dharma Initiative, so Dharma was the top mystery of the show.
#39 - Charlie and Claire, "We're Friends"
Season 1 - Homecoming
(no video available)
This is the moment after Claire returns from being kidnapped by Ethan, and she doesn't remember anything. She's really creeped out, and Charlie comes to sit with her and try and make her feel better. Claire asks him if they were friends, and he tells her that they were. It is a really sweet moment between them...I wish I could find a video for it :P.
# 38 - Hurley and Ben
Season 6 - The End
(no video available)
This episode is probably too new for it to be on youtube, but this was a great time...it was the moment in the last episode when Ben tells Hurley that he would be a great leader because he takes care of people, and Hurley asks Ben to be his "number 2". It was a perfect way to end Ben's story, and Michael Emerson's face when Hurley told him that he was needed was really touching. Go Hurley!
