(no subject)
Yesterday was by far the longest work day ever. And we were just growing cells and inducing to turn off bacterial production and turn on protein production. Gotta love that IPTG (it's a lactose analog)!!
While waiting for the stupid cells to grow and way, way after that girl left, which, by the way, was nothing to freak out about. We both forgot about it and tried to make the best of the long night. So, we started doing some stuff on the couch, and let me put it this way, we had to stop because we were moving way too fast. That's all the information I'm giving...it should suffice.
When it was time to check the cells every 30 minutes, I started calling people. I would have lost my sanity if I didn't do something. I found out that many people are sleeping at one in the morning. Their phones just ring and ring and ring. I did leave archdluxette a message though. I hung up on the rest. But oh well, the real deal starts tomorrow...early...more like 8:30am, but hey it's still early.
