A Leaf Is A Calendar, But Sometimes....

I have always found it interesting that in India, leaves are red and lack chlorphyll when they are young and new; whereas in the US, it is the dying leaves that turn glorious colours. But whichever way it is, leaves act as calendars...if you see a picture of your American friend, with multi-coloured leaf-filled trees in the background, you know it

I have seen such colored leaves in my neighborhood last week and wondered, "wow...we hardly had summer this year and we are already seeing fall!" I wonder if this is a kind of phenomenon for a few species of trees who dont wait for fall to turn colors. :)

I didn't reply to it as Biddles made her imperative call..but..I enjoy EVERY ONE of your song posts!

I missed out on 2 days of friends'list as Biddles was a little ill, and when I catch up, I often don't have time to comment on all the posts. Also, the router at home is a little iffy...when the microwave is on, the internet cuts out...and suchlike problems...mean that I don't always post comments.
