Hello everyone, from Green Circle
The biodiversity register which we are planning is going to help Green Circle, which is doing a lot of lake revival activities.
Currently we are taking steps to rejuvenate the Rajakaluve. We are therefore trying to identify flora like shrubs and trees, and fauna like birds, butterflies, dragonflies, damselflies and notable insects.
We are having the second survey at Avalahalli Llake on Sunday, 12 January 25.
This is a documentation project and not a general nature walk. It is not suitable for participants below 15.

Note of caution:
Damini, Savitha and I were driving towards Avalahalli at about 5am when a young man signalled to her for a lift at the Seshadri Road/Kempe Gowda Road junction. (we were to pick up Srividhya at Esteem Mall.) She was slowing down when I warned her not to do so. Once the man was in the car, we would have no defence at all. Yes, one must be extra careful. I possibly prevented a genuine person from getting a lift, but three ladies at 5am...the risk was not acceptable.
