BngbIrds Fifth Sunday Special Walk: Hesaraghatta Grasslands

Where

Hesaraghatta Grasslands, we meet at the Animal Quarantine And Certification Services Hessarghatta Office and proceed from there towards ‘Our Native Village’. We cross over to the grasslands from there to start the walk.

Shalini and I started from CA at 4.30am. We stopped enroute for chai, and reached the Animal Quarantine Centre. We then drove down past Rassba Farm  (owned by C B Ramkumar and his wife )  to Our Native Village (also owned by them), then drove back to gather other participants. We drove back to Rassba Farm, parked and everyone started the walk at  7.05am. We wound up at about 9.35 am. Breakfast of iddli, vada, uppma, coffee/tea was served to everyone. We left at about 10am and reached CA at about 12.10pm. (through ORR).
