I learn something from somebody
Each and every day.
It may be something big or small
But it helps to light my way.

I learn from people, young and old.
I learn from shy people, and bold.
Each time something new I'm told
It's  a moment good as gold.

I learn a lot from Mother Nature.
She is the quietest and the best teacher.
In the skies, and trees and grass,
I am a student in a magic class.

It may be Guru Poornima
Or it may be Teacher's Day.
Let me salute every one who gives me
Knowledge ...a shining, golden ray.
