K2 and the lullaby...a few years ago

K2, as I put him to bed: "Sing jO jO (a lullaby) for me."
I start singing, and stop after a while.
K2: "Sing! Why have you stopped!"
Me: "But you are not sleeping."
K2: "I *am* sleeping. I slept long ago. You go on singing!"
