Most of the group at the start. Pandian, Vanitha, Krishnaveni, Santosh, Vijayaraghavan, Ramya Swaroop, Siddharth, Priya, Gautam, Uday. (Ashima, Abir and Amay are missing)

(The point is 50 km from Jayadeva Flyover and requires a very early start to be on time.)
Meeting time: 6.30am. (the walk will take approx 3 hours)
Please bring vehicles with good ground clearance as we may possibly drive from this point, as far as the road permits ( it is under construction and hence needs ground clearance). We will stop the cars and walk down the bank of the river, up to the check dam point.
Post-outing breakfast point:

Bring: Binoculars, cameras, bird books/apps, pads/pencils if you like to sketch or take notes.
Wear: Dull-coloured clothes, hats/caps, comfy walking shoes. The path is a little muddy where the stream (Pennaiyaar) goes over it. Also muddy as the earthmovers are still at work on the road.
Bring plenty of water, and snacks if you like to share( we do!) The check dam point is a great place to sit and relax; the children of TVS Academy had their breakfast there.
Not a circular trail, people can leave whenever they wish to.
Airtel does not have a signal in the forest area. I do not know about other service providers.
