Trip to Edumadu,Thu, 10 Nov 22

Narendra Divakar, Shalini and I are planning a trip to Edumadu.

Edumadu Stream
https://maps.app.goo.gl/AyP6VvDDCCMFpShb7

Right now, Naren says there is a lot of water and so a lot of birds, too.Naren says that the car can go few 100m onwards,, then we walk along the base of the hill. There is a small stream and water body there, where he saw fresh leopard pug marks. It's about 27 km from Jayadeva Flyover, to the south (see on Google maps), taking approx one hour to reach early on Thursday morning.

We are planning to start from Jayadeva Flyover area

(location: https://goo.gl/maps/QoBm2zw8urB2PDYr5)

reach there by 6.30am, explore for 2-3 hours, and return, having breakfast on the way.

We have two seats to spare in Shalini's Ford Endeavour; she will be leaving from Indira Nagar, picking up Naren, and picking me up at Jayadeva Flyover location at 5.30am. One more car with 4-5 people can be added.( Since this is an exploratory visit, and a working day, we are keeping the numbers to 8-10 people..hence posting only on this group.)

The closest post-outing brefus point is NASA Benne Dosa, which also has clean washrooms. Unfortunately the eatery opposite it is not very good. (we have now found Udupi Garden opp Art of Living which is very good.)

If you are interested, please say so on this group, stating whether you have a car or need a ride. The first two people who need a ride, can join on the Indira Nagar/Koramangala/ Jayadeva Flyover/ORR/Kanakapura Road route. We will try and organize the second car route if it is required.

This may not be a first-come-first-served situation as your area of residence will play a part in your being able to join in. If everything works out, I can add you to the WA group for the outing.

Hoping that some of you can join,

Cheers, Deepa
