Narasimman was kind enough to take us to an organic farm, which his uncle, Sri Sundararaman, manages, with the help of his wife Smt Radha, and their son, Sri Krishnan. They were very hospitable, and did not mind our intrusion. We had some superb filter coffee, madew with milk that was fresh from the cow on the farm...and, after ages, yumm really-made-at-home murukku! Our entry into the Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve was marked by a long halt in front of a huge Peepal tree, on which several species of birds, including these beautiful Yellow-footed Green Pigeons, were foraging greedily.
