What I do
This is in response to someone.
I am as interested in history and heritage as I am in the natural world. I am proficient in music. I have worked extensively with children: in particular special children. I draw and paint reasonably well, though I am not doing this much of late. I am a good (and honest) theatre reviewer. I like meeting people. I like organizing things. I used to sew quite well. I am a competent photographer. I have maintained a blog (LJ, backing up on WP) since 2005, writing on various subjects. I have moderated a family quiz group since 1991 (it's now mostly online). I am, perhaps, not very tech-savvy, but I get by, better than most people of my age group. I am a competent cook, and make excellent pickles. I have done more night highway driving than any other woman I know. I have learnt swimming and cycling as an adult as I couldn't learn these when I was young. There is nothing that says I need to have only one facet in my life!
