Some years ago, I went to a birding friend's wedding, all decked up, and he looked right through me, never having seen me in anything but my birding outfit. So I went up to him, and said, " Hey...it's me...Deepa!" He did a double take, and, in front of his new bride and a stage full of family and friends, exclaimed, "Oh! You are wearing CLOTHES!"
