"Can you come over?"
A lot of chores to do, and work to be done.
But the phone rings, and a young voice asks, "Deepamma, can you come over? I want you to be here."
No reasons given....but I do some of the work, leave everything else, and walk down to be with K2.
I look at his little finger...that's the one he has me wrapped around!
The two running-to-me-hugs that I get from him, and his sister....these are worth delaying all the chores in the world.
And how lovely it is that I only need to walk 2 km to be with them, instead of sitting for hours in a transatlantic flight!
