I had to edit the photos of the class for my teacher so I figured I'd do these now too.

Oh, and we have agreed that this is the place for us so next March/April we'll be married in the gardens.

Since we were in the area and I never have a reason to be in Tallahassee any other time, we went to the gardens in the Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park. I saw on the state's website that they are designed to bloom in early Spring, and let's face it, nobody knows how to do real gardens in South Florida. It was amazing. It is so perfect for a wedding. Plus, it's only $75/hour for a ceremony in the gardens (minimum 2 hours) and $125 to rent the gardener's cottage for a 6 hour reception. That's $275 for a wedding and reception location and it is, to me, the most beautiful place I could imagine for my wedding. Being indoors feels suffocating and every beach looks the same. This place, however, is so peacefully beautiful and unique that it will surely be a day everyone we love can remember with us.
