Introducing: Kendrah's Totally Awesome Writing Prompt Shop!
Okay, I know a lot of you are participating in NaNoWriMo this year. I am, too. But I'm going to stretch myself thin this year, too, because an idea struck me that I simply have to run with. Those of you participating in NaNo, feel free to drop by and see if you can be inspired. Those who think writing a novel in one month is simply too much for you, but do enjoy writing on occassion?
Welcome to Kendrah's Totally Awesome Writing Prompt Shop! Basically, I will write one (or more) prompts each day of November. There's a catch, though. While some of these might be great for inspiring NaNO writers (and I may make two a day, one specifically for NaNo writers), these prompts will be for writing a short story. Or a fanfiction. Drabble. Whatever. Heck, if you draw, and are more inspired to make art than prose, go ahead! My only requirement (yes, I require it, because I want to see what you do with these things) is that you comment in the post where I give the prompt, sharing where you've gone with it. Yes, I want to see multiple stories, arts, drabbles, whatever, based on every prompt I give. So please, join me! I think we can really have some fun with it.
And if you have prompt ideas you want to share, feel free to give them to me here. I'm screening this post, so that any prompts given can be saved for the Totally Awesome Writing Prompt Shop (where I will give credit).
That said, who's going to be watching my journal throughout November, and hopefully sharing with me the fruits of their labor? <3 I, of course, will try to either incorporate prompts into my NaNo, or I will be joining you in writing shorts on my own prompts, so nobody will be alone!
