"A Day"
First and foremost, happy birthday to my Odango! <3<3<3 Much love sweety. We didn't hear from you this past weekend. I hope everything's okay, and that you were just busy celebrating.
So fun times, apparently paid posting has changed some of its rules. I recently got a rejection on a post that I could not resubmit because my interim post was more than seven days (it was 9 I believe) before my paid one. O.o Of course, that means now you’ll likely be seeing me making posts immediately before paid content. Just thought I’d give you all a heads up/fyi about that, and gripe, because it’s money lost. Oh well.
Today I’m having “a day”. I call it a day like that because, well, yea. Fun times and fiascos. I made a point to find at least one CD case and bring it with me to work, so I hopefully have some inspirational music by which to write, right? Heh. I somehow forget to bring my breakfast and lunch food for the week. Yup, I am sans food. Some fun, eh? Fortunately I had some breakfast bread in the freezer here at work. I’m finishing that off as breakfast and lunch today, and I have to remember to actually bring my food tomorrow. ::flails:: I even went out of my way to buy milk last night!
Work is work. I won’t be around nearly as much during weekdays anymore, so I may miss your posts. I’ll leave it as a standard message that if you posted something you want me to see, link me to it in a comment on my most recent entry (whether relevant to my entry or not). I say most recent because LJ is being a dork and not emailing me when I have comments anymore. Some fun, eh? ;-;
Not this week, but next, I’m going to be going to Florida to visit my family for the holidays. Knowing them, no, I probably won’t be able to visit any of you Florida peoples. Give me a call while I’m down there, though, and we’ll see. You never know what miracle might occur. XD I’m going to be there from November 14th (late evening) to November 24th (early morning). Hopefully I’ll get a chance to at least meet with one or two of you, if luck is on my side.
I’m really hoping I can keep up with NaNo while I’m there. Then again, I’m already way behind. Zero words, and we’re on day six. I have no plot. Go me. I’ll be working on that today at lunch. I figure at this point, if I write a little over two thousand words a day, I’m still in the running. It’s writing that much a day that worries me. ::laughs:: Or writing daily at all. Must force myself to write.
I’m going to try to get online at least a smidge during the weekends. It may not be right away, and it will depend on the weekends, but I miss my online time, and I miss chatting with friends like I used to. I never touch the computer during the weekends anymore, and while I don’t want to get back to how I used to be, I do want to be around every now and again.
Okay, I’m starving. I’m going to eat my two pieces of toast, take my medicine, and try to work on NaNo some. ::flails:: I just… blah.
