What is it with me and story dreams?

Sep 05, 2007 10:36

I love them and I hate them. They make me want to write out the story, but I can only remember bits and pieces by the time I'm in a position to do so. Let's see what I can remember from last night's dream, shall I ( Read more... )

You should so totally write this out. It would make one hell of a story. You dream in extreme detail, don't you? :)

Oh, I definitely plan to. I really should finish other things first, though. ::points to link she shared above::

And yea, I do dream in some extreme detail. I've been known to read in my dreams (although I'm told you can't read in your dreams, and that you only look at a page with words and know what they say, but I know for a fact I read). Dreams will spans years of a character's life, like this one. It's just crazy, but in a good way... I smell, I feel, I dream in color. The works.

And, btw, don't forget it!! If you forget it, you'll never be able to write about it, write the details you remember down really well, now! I'm not sure if the LJ post included all the strong details or not, but if it didn't, be sure you do! Trust me on this one. I've forgotten a lot I wanted to write about, and now I can't remember.

Definitely. No, this wasn't everything, but it was just about everything, and I wrote enough for my memory to bring it back, and I'll be able to regain the rest of the details pretty easily. The details I don't have written are mostly just the details of what the prince looked like, and a smidge of the room he met the 'drunkard' in... maybe a bit more about the drunkard himself, but very little. Nothing worth noting, or that I would forget, if that makes sense, because reading this post makes me remember those details in finer detail...

As I said, I screened the comment, which means you can't respond to it and nobody else can see it. Just make a new comment on this entry if you want to talk about it more. I'll keep screening them after I respond, and you can just keep making new ones. I don't mind.

Ok, I get it. Makes sense now. I'm still a noobie! :) Does that also mean they can't see the comment I made? That's really cool. How do you screen a comment, by the way? Just make it private?

If it's in your journal, just click on the little "eye" and it will screen the comment. I believe it can also be called making it private, but I'm not sure. And yes, that means they can't see your comment or the one I made to you because both are screened. ^_^
