You know, I'm starting to get annoyed with the "So, when are you getting married?", "Have you two had the wedding yet?" and "Fiancée, still?" comments. I really think we need to at least start planning the wedding, that way I can at least give people a date. I mean, heck. If I have to push back the date, or change things, that's fine, but at least I'll have the ability to say I've started planning things, right? ::sighs::
Fortunately there are lots of places out there to help someone as clueless as myself along with the wedding planning world. I mean, where do you start with
wedding planning? This site has everything from budgeting information to tips on themes. It covers showers, receptions, honeymoon, and everything in between. There's even a section on same sex marriages that even gives some information on current legislation. It seems they also have a helpful blog. I'm going to have to poke my nose around more when I have the time and see if I can start planning. I swear, I'm sick of coworkers and family members asking why we haven't gotten married yet.
This post is sponsored. The rant is triggered by recent events, though.
