So why does it feel so terribly far away? And why don't I know yet if I'm going to get the loan or not? Give me the information already! Stop taking more and more and more from me without giving anything back that makes me feel safe in this situation ( Read more... )

Hihi! O.O I see something about Germany and brothels, and vaguely wonder if this is work safe. ^_~

This is going to sound really stupid, but I just can't place your username. Do I know you from somewhere, or through someone? XD Please forgive me being clueless.

Oh, well then hello and nice to meet you! Is it work safe? I'll totally read through it for the distraction. And thank you. That was very kind of you.

How did you happen to stumble across my journal? ^_^ I rarely go surfing through LJ-land, so I have no clue how someone might have stumbled across one of my posts.

::giggles at the article:: Oh dear! I, um, think I agree with your journal entry. I do wonder if the prostitutes are also over 65. O.O

Ah, I see! So it was sheer chance that my entry happened to be up just as you were checking the posts. I definitely feel special! I'd love to keep chatting with you. I didn't do the searching, but I feel I've wound up meeting someone interesting. XD

Lately I've been meeting a few scattered military individuals, when I used to know none. ^_^ It's definitely a different lifestyle than I am used to, so I'm sure you've got a much different life perspective than my own. And given that there's very little of interest in my life, I'm sure you're much more interesting than I could ever be.

I'm a Floridian, but I moved to Georgia a couple of years ago, myself. So welcome to the area, a bit pre-emptively.

As far as politics are concerned, I rarely discuss them, but I do have an open mind myself, and rarely mind discussing them when someone else brings something up, if I know what is going on. I'm not an overly political person, although I know I probably should be. I guess that's something I should probably work on with myself.

And a sense of humor is always a good thing.

Mind if I friend you, then? You're welcome to do the same.

I'm not terribly familiar with Augusta, or even my own area, but I have enough connections to hopefully give you some ideas for what to do for recreation in Georgia. ^_^

Personally? I was bit by the social bug long ago. A lot of what I do involves going out with my friends: bowling, arcade/puttput golf places, shopping, the aquarium. Stuff like that. I'm not really a 'clubbing' kind of girl, so I don't know much about that, but I know people who are.

Other than that, I entertain myself with my hobbies, and sometimes have 'at home' gatherings with friends, either just to watch movies, shoot the bull, or sometimes to do with those hobbies.

It's in downtown Atlanta. I absolutely adore the aquarium. I don't think they're selling annual passes anymore, but the at-the-door rate isn't that bad. It's the big aquarium that might have made it on the news in other areas. First in the USA to have whale sharks. I could simply spend hours there...

Now pubs I'm sure I could locate for you, as I have a handful of friends who certainly enjoy a good pub. Don't know if I could locate good ones in the Augusta area, but I could certainly try.
